Radar Cyber Security has been awarded ‘Cyber Security Made in Europe’, a label initiated by the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO). The Bochum-based European Center of Competence for IT Security (eurobits) was responsible for reviewing the application process and issued the label to the company.
The ‘Cyber Security Made in Europe’ label is only given to organizations that reside in Europe and meet the strict selection criteria. The seal raises awareness for companies that originate from Europe and whose activities base on European values. The “Made in Europe” component identifies companies that credibly live up to the responsibility towards digital European sovereignty in their day-to-day business.
Dedicated to protect Europe’s critical infrastructure
Headquartering in Vienna, Radar Cyber Security meets the relevant criteria and has already positioned itself broadly in the market with its proprietary Managed Detection & Response solutions. The company is currently channelling its efforts to protect critical infrastructure from cyber threats. It detects threats at an early stage for its customers, meaning to provide a comprehensive overview of large volumes of data and specific recommendations on mitigating such threats, using its own inhouse and core European technology.
Additionally Radar Cyber Security supports critical infrastructure companies to prepare for the challenges of legislative changes – e.g. the NIS Directive on European level and the IT Security Act 2.0 (IT-SiG 2.0) in Germany Those changes highlight once again the importance of suppliers of an independent, European technology.
“In addition to the fact that the technology has been developed in Europe, our customers draw considerably on the fact that our service is also provided within Europe through Managed Security Services. We are proud to be awarded with the ‘Cyber Security Made in Europe’ label,”
